Wild Life
It is so rewarding to take a moment, step back and notice the change that takes place when you put time and
effort into a particular calling. When I first started enameling, I used the traditional technique of basse-taille; the application of a "single" color. Shading is achieved in the layering of enamel, and the depth of the carving. I thought I would stretch myself and began to add a "variety of colors" and with that, details in my carvings came alive especially where fur, feathers, or water are involved.
This collection features; Tigers, White Tigers, Wolves, Polar Bears, Gorillas, Rhinos with more to come!
My work constantly evolves which keeps me going and seeking for what comes next. Many of us share an affinity with wildlife and the planet we inhabit together. My line of jewelry is centered on designing art that captures the essence of the animal kingdom.
