The Triskele pattern is found in many cultures, three being a symbolic number. It is most prevalent in Celtic designs, but this rendition is very Japanese. In addition to missing extended family and friends, my move from Santa Cruz to Port Townsend meant leaving Watsonville Taiko. For over 5 years I performed the art of Japanese Taiko drumming, and I loved it!
