At the observatory on top of Mt. Hermon, CA., I had the opportunity to look through the giant telescope to view the Moon, and for the first time got a close look at Saturn. What a glorious sight! The next thing I knew, I was carving it in graphite. It is fun to play with the colors on this piece, stirring up childhood memories of time spent in a coloring book. The moon and star earrings make a nice pairing with this pendant.
