I will never forget the image caught on film of a wild polar bear playing with huskies. This is one of those designs that came so easily to me, and I enjoyed watching the bear take shape as I carved into the graphite block. Polar Bears are very strong swimmers, and their large front paws, which they use to paddle, are slightly webbed. The paw print on the border of this piece leaves an impressive mark.
